This one-of-a-kind mug is wheel-thrown and hand-painted. I started this series in mid-March 2020. I draw inspiration from my home, friends, and surroundings. I begin by engraving it; then, I fire it, sand it, and hand paint it over my drawings with black underglaze. Finish the piece with a clear glaze on the outside and color celadon glaze on the inside of the mug, fired to 2232 Fahrenheit (cone 6.)

Although dishwasher safe, I recommend placing the mug on the top rack and avoiding the heat drying cycle or handwashing it. This mug is food-safe and microwave-safe.
