This one-of-a-kind ceramic piece is handmade and painted. I started this series in mid-March 2020. I draw inspiration from my home, friends, and surroundings. Once the vessel is built, I engrave the surface with my designs, then I fire it, sand it and proceed to hand paint my drawing with underglazes. Finish the piece with a clear glaze on the outside and color celadon glaze on the inside, finally firing it to 2232 Fahrenheit (cone 6.)

Although dishwasher safe, I recommend placing it on the top rack and avoiding the heat drying cycle or handwashing it. This piece is food safe.
