This one-of-a-kind mug is wheel-thrown and hand-painted. It's great for coffee and tea. I draw inspiration from my home, friends, and surroundings. Once the cylinder is thrown, I engrave the surface, fire it, sand it, and hand-paint it with three or four coats of underglazes. I finish the piece with a clear glaze on the outside and a celadon glaze on the inside of the mug, finally firing it to 2232 Fahrenheit (cone 6).

Although dishwasher safe, I recommend placing the mug on the top rack and avoiding the heat drying cycle or handwashing it. This mug is food-safe and microwave-safe.
